Nathan Francis Mossell
Nathan Francis Mossell (July 27, 1856 - October 27, 1946) was an American doctor who was the primary African-American alumni of the College of Pennsylvania Institute of Medication in 1882. He posted graduate preparation at medical clinics in Philadelphia and London. In 1888, he was the principal dark doctor chose as individual from the Philadelphia Region Clinical Society in Pennsylvania. He was dynamic in the NAACP and furthermore helped found the Frederick Douglass Remembrance Emergency clinic and Preparing School in West Philadelphia in 1895, which he drove as head of-staff and clinical chief until he resigned in 1933.[1][2] Gertrude Bustill Mossell was his better half.
Early life and training
Mossell was brought into the world in Hamilton, Canada, in 1856, the fourth of six kids. The two his folks, Eliza Nooks (1824 - ?) and Aaron Albert Mossell I (1824 - ?), were dropped from liberated slaves.
